Events at the My Dry Dock

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not changes,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

Join our community of supporters by becoming a “Shipmate”! Shipmates are individuals who choose to contribute on a regular basis—monthly, quarterly, or annually—to help keep the Dry Dock open and thriving for everyone. You can also make a one-time gift with cash or check.

Service Work Opportunities

We encourage everyone to get involved in their own way. There are many ways you can give back to the A.A. community and make your recovery stronger. Here are a few ideas:

Run the Coffee Bar

If you’re interested in running the coffee bar you’ll need three months sober. You’ll need to handle money and learn to run the cash resister. You’ll meet a lot of people and have lots of fun.

Chair
Meetings

If you’re interested in chairing meetings, you’ll need to show up early. If you and your sponsor think you’re ready and meet the 3-month sobriety requirement, this is a simple and helpful way to give back to the fellowship.

Help with Events

We need volunteers to help with events. Each event will list the tasks that need help. The event coordinator will organize the volunteers, so talk to the coffee bar attendant if you’re interested in helping.
