The Dry Dock is Your Safe Haven for Recovery

This is a great place to go for meetings and meet other people who are focused on recovery. It’s open to anyone who is looking for help with recovery. The atmosphere is exciting and uplifting. They also have delicious coffee and snacks for sale. There are meetings and groups you can join, and we have two meeting rooms and a private room for sponsors to work with their sponsees. We host several events throughout the year.

Explore solutions for alcohol problems by attending meetings at the Dry Dock. Whether you’re seeking signs and symptoms or wondering if you have an alcohol problem, we’re here to support you. Together, we can help you take steps toward recovery.

We encourage everyone to get involved in their own way. There are many ways you can give back to the A.A. community and make your recovery stronger.

If you’re interested in running the coffee bar you’ll need three months sober. You’ll need to handle money and learn to run the cash resister. You’ll meet a lot of people and have lots of fun.

If you’re interested in chairing meetings, you’ll need to show up early. If you have 3-months of sobriety, this is a simple and helpful way to give back to the fellowship.

We need volunteers to help with events. Each event will list the tasks that need help. The event coordinator will organize the volunteers, so talk to the coffee bar attendant if you’re interested in helping.

You can become a “shipmate” by making monthly contributions, or you can make a one-time contribution with cash or a check. The Shipmates is a group of people who choose to contribute money regularly (monthly, quarterly, or annually) to help keep the Dry dock open for everyone. The amount you give is up to you. These contributions help cover the costs of running the Dry Dock. If you want to join, ask the coffee bar attendant for more details. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so your contributions are tax-deductible.

There are lots of other ways to get involved, both at the Dry Dock and with other groups nearby. Just showing up early to meetings and talking to newcomers can really help you in your own recovery. Ask others in the fellowship how they stay involved and what they do. This is an inspiring place to attend meetings and connect with others who are committed to recovery. Open to anyone seeking support, the environment is both uplifting and energizing — a community where healing and growth happen together.
